The first thing we discovered was that the track up and first left from the camp had once again become a truck stopping mud hole.
What was new was a shortcut just before the usual turn that bypassed the bottom corner (to where Calvin is with his bike)
But where would the fun be in that?

Jarred forgot to close his window and paid the price (much to our enjoyment though). 
 

Tony tried the track straight up from the camp around the bottom of the 2 hills, but it was a bit rugged to bother with. 


Jarred thrashed his poor little truck so much that the oil stared boiling out of it! 


Then he managed to roll it of the side of the track (see first video on the video section)
 

A two winch operation for recovery and it lived again.
We limped back to camp, packed up and headed home.
